My guild is Luxon and I want Kurzik armor...

How hard is this going to be? I only have 750 Luxon and 0 Kurzik and I want Kurzik armor for my Assassin and my Warrior (Just 1.5k)... Could someone please explain to me what it would take?

As far as I know, you either have to do Kurzick quests (if you can) to trade for Amber, or buy the Amber from players.

what you need to do is get some faction for the kurzicks. Not alot, just enough for them to say soemthing other then 'Go away!'. Then buy the amber you need. Then craft the armour with your other materials. Amber itself is a pest to get ahold of. You can't seem to salvage it from anything (which is naff-can't salvage amber from an amber bow...) and like jadeite, appear to only get it when you trade in faction.

A few days ago, I saw jadeite at the rare material trader. I don't know if somebody decided to sell it before they knew its value, but I'm going to assume not many people will sell it to the traders now, because of the market for it between players.

Just keep this in mind:
Luxons or Kurzick NPC's will talk to you when you have more faction of there group than of the other faction.
You can even talk to armor crafter this way if you belong to the other faction XD

To further clarify for the OP, your guild's standing or allegiance to one faction does not guarantee your interaction with that faction's NPCs or prevent your interaction with the opposing faction's NPCs. Even though my guild is Kurzick-sided, the faction redeemer guy in the guild hall refuses to speak to me because I have more Luxon points -- so I cannot redeem my Kurzick points to increase my guild's standing. Which means I will have no problem conversing and doing business with Luxon armor crafters, even though I'm tainted by association.

(Just kidding about the "tainted" bit. I don't actually care about the faction vendetta. I'm gonna play both sides, to the extent I will be able to. And they do get to get along at the end, for the greater good, no?)

Awesome, thanks. I was hoping this was possible. As far as gathering faction for the opposite alliance (I'm Luxon, but want Amber), which quests can you continously redo on the Kurzick side for more faction?
