Chalice of Corruption quest completion. How is it done?

Numerous times i've asked in-game and searched the internet but couldnt find my answer. How is this quest completed?

Return the chalice to the guy who gives you the quest. Quest completed. If you drank from the chalice, no clue what you do.

You talk to the guy, drink the potion and dont die while murmers a bunch of junk.
After that you will be infected and losing health still, follow him to a certain spot where you get to fight loads of those inflicted or whatever mobs.
Once you beat them all you talk to him again and recieve the reward.
I might hav emissed something =/ i did this a while ago with hench.

well i've drank the potion but any time i talk to him he'll tell me not to interrupt the ritual and thats where i'm stuck.

yeah you just have to stand around for a bit and well..dont die.
he then talks to you after the ritual is done.

I pitty the fools who are not aware of that and take an entire pug to do that quest... actually, I pitty their monk.
