Improved Pet AI?

I remember hearing about this when Factions was about to come out, yet i didnt read anything about it when the official release was made. So, before i buy factions and recreate my old beastmaster, has anyone noticed any differences?
Also, are any of the new pet skills making a beastmaster more viable?

there haven't been any updates to pet AI from what i've noticed... but Gaile did say they are working on it and will be updated asap
