really depends on what you want to do.
Healing is a very good route which I go from time to time depending on the party.
Channelling I really like too. If I do any missions with henches I normally tend to go this route for the damage. Same with PVP just because Im not a huge fan of healing in PVP.
But really mate its completely personal preference.

I too am a Rt/N and use Death, Communing and Spawning. Basically equip some spirits to help reduce damage on your allies and inflict some on your foes but also animate minions to help soak up enemy attacks and shield your party. You aren't going to inflict much damage yourself but your minions and spirits will do that for you whilst also keeping enemy attacks away from your allies which they will appreciate.
Works for me.

hmm sounds cool brutal I looked up a build last night on these forums I think it was in the Rt/N feeling overwhelmed thread its the one with deathmast spawning and channeling but I might as well use communing since not only I but my whole party would benefit from the spirits that I create but I'll see how it goes and whatnot...

I'm running with this config as well. Works great in the team support role. The Ritualist is a fun character to play. You can play support, heal, and damage roles quite effectively.

i admit, its amusing to watch, but when they start complaining that im not doing my job, about dp, or begging to get rezzed i get annoyed. I don't even bother using flesh of my flesh on them until after a battle because 1) they are worthless without their skills, yet they try to tank with little energy anyways and 2) i find healing less people makes things go easier.

Give it a month or so and all the Agro Assassins will weed themselfs out. I will have to admit it is fun watching. I've also notice that the people playing the Ritualists aren't as childish, but this is just my experience.
