Why is my character afflicted???

Not sure exactly when it happened, but I have been suffereing from some disease for a while now, i'm glowing green with black bug things around me even in town, it is constatntly draining my health.

How did this happen and how do I cure it??

let me guess.

you grabbed every quest in sight and suddenly notice you are dying.

i forget which quest it is though

check your log and find out which one asks for a cure or something that might suggest disease

you cure it by doing the quest or abandoning it

I am pretty sure it is the one where you drink from the cup. either finish it or abadon the quest and that should get rid of it.

can anyone tell me if this is a factions only quest. if not, where do i get it.

Yes, it's factions only, and I believe it's located in the Undercity, with the Am Fah leader. The quest is called something like 'Your True Master'. I forgot though. He gives you a choice to drink from the chalice, if you don't drink from it, I think you get ambushed on the spot. (Not sure because I drank from the chalice)

edit: Oh, sorry, my memory is bad ^^;; you have to have completed the Search for a Cure from Imperial Agent Hanjo in Kaineng, then Budo gives you the quest for Seek out Brother Tosai. Then when you get the Brother Tosai, he gives you the option to drink fromt he chalice or not, both choices gives you the chance to complete the quest. If you don't drink it, you just bring the chalice back to Hanjo. If you do drink it, you have to help Brother Tosai kill his afflicted Am Fah troops and let him continue his ritual. My party and I found drinking the chalice to be pretty difficult, so maybe you'd want to deny his drink. Hope that helps.

u got a quest which is u become more powerful with new masters right??? anyways u had a choice to become poison then have to fight a hell load of monsters or steal the chalice and report it...the problem with stealing is that the Am Fam will come after u forever and forever unless u throw the game away (but dont tho)
