I don't know about fruit looped flavor runes (conditional effects and such), but runes like Minor, Major and Superior energy, with no penalty would be rather nice, 3,6 and 10 energy.
I would rather see more class specific runes, like Warriors Rune of Absorbtion, for other classes. It seems unfair that Warrior gets an extra set of runes wile other classes don't. Elementist runes of Fervor, reducing Exhaustion by 1, 2 and 3 points, or Assassin runes of Evasion 5, 10, and 15% chance of evasion, or Assassin runes of Critical hit, adding either 1-3% added critical, or 2-6% more critical.
Small but effective class specific runes is what I realy want to see, non stackable effects and no tradeoff like absorbtion, good for each class.
Another good universal Rune would be runes of Degen prevention, which would counter 1 to 3 pips of degen. Even with a health penalty, being able to resist up to 3 pips of degen would be a great hex resistor, and there is a serious lack of hex/degen resistance in the game, wile armor shaves off damage from many physical and elemental sources.
