Where to go from here...

So I'm a level 15 assasin, still on the island in factions. I just finished beating "captured son" quest (which took me like 5 trys) Now I've been all over the island but i cannot find any more quests. I headed over to the mainland, but its wayyyyy more then i'm ready for. How should I level now? What level is good to tackle the mainland with?

A/Rt here, and I started doing mainland questing at 16. It's not that difficult if you bring a full henchmen party, just make sure to send henchies in first, or chances are you'll get killed immediately to large mobs. Try to stay out of blast zones of Afflicted mobs, and you'll level in no time.
