Factions Question

Well i haven't been able to play any gcomputer for a while lots of school stuff and i was looking at guild wars site and i couldnt find out if in factions can u go above lvl 20? i cant really get factions yet (i know its liek 40$ im just broke and my parents wont let me get a job till summer)

no, you will never be able to go above 20 for balancing reasons. more levels = more health and more attribute points. more health would go further for tanks than it would for say, a elementalist, due to armor level, superior absorption runes, and shields. Attribute points would go further for an elementalist than say, a mesmer, due to elemenalist usually focus on one or two attributes and max that out, whereas mesmers would be more spread out.
