Green faction item drop rates

The assasin who drops green daggers near Maatu keep (forget name) but i dualed with healer hench like 10 times no greeen dager drop he was never even holding it....bug?

not bugged. I soloed that place tonight and got the daggers on my sixth run. easiest green i ever got.

Im near the end of the story, not one green drop. Im very unlucky.

I did some solo runs on Jin, because she is near the boarder of a Zone.
Killed her 20 times to find out on her drop behavior.
On the 6th run she dropped her Bow, on the 16th run the farming warning appeared, on the 20th run the farming warning appeared a sceond time.
apart from this HC Farming approach I have so far found only one other Cantha Green, the Wingstorm which is a 20/20 Domination Rod.
Killed her 20 times to find out on her drop behavior.

I've had the crappy low level rit staff from pre island, was doing it with a friend and henchies and was my first try 
(also my first green ever in gw).

I farmed the assassin boss near Maatu keep abou 60 times. His daggers dropped only once this far.

lucky i must have dont him about 60 times no green daggers best thing i got was a blue scrol and a messege ^^

i have had the daggers from xuekao drop twice in about 30 runs, got the first set after 10 runs and sold them, got the second set after 8 and still have them havent had them drop since, wondering if it wont drop them if you already have them?
Got lots of other stuff though, had about 8 gold scrolls which the minimum value of 1 was 400g, max was 780g over 100 pieces of cloth 3 silk and a few other rare materials.

"If you continue to kill only the first monsters in the area, you will find that dropped loot will start to diminish rapidly. PLay the area in the normal way to receive max loot from enemies"
i wanted to ask, did u farm solo or with henchmen? becoz, lets face it, 7 henchmen are a lot, and they are surely getting the greenie u dont

every time ive faced him has been solo 0o
makes me think this , do the bosses only drop a serton amout of greens per day

No i only used jemai the healer henchman.....can someone post a picture of the weapon itself so i can just rezon if he dosent have it, im farming on my assasin.....

Someone needs to make a list of the Canthan Greens, because I have to clue what bosses drop them.

Question: Is it bad to farm with henchies or better to do alone? I went on about 50 runs in the valley for Ashassa's Shield(spl?) with 7 hechies and did not get it once. He is the Yeti boss south and west of Seaboard. Do you have better odds of getting a drop if you go by yourself without hechies?

If you are constantly farming in the same location, the drops you will recieve will be less, and not as consistant. I would sugest farming somehwere else, or just coming back at a later date.

ya proably..... never tested it my self.... but i've been trying to farm for them daggers out side of Maatu Keep in the Pongmei Valley for 3 days now.... no luck.... i do it untill the message pops out or my wife calls me to eat dinner -)

well, unless they changed it (which i doubt), henchmen are considered like normal players when the drops are assigned. when u play with ppl, the different dropped items are assigned to the players, right? in an ideal case, everyone gets something.
in Prophecies it was the same thing, henchmen get assigned stuff too, it just doesnt show. next time you play with people, u can see that almost every monster drops something, and when u play with henchmen, drops are a lot rarer

i've soloed that dang assasin outside Maatu about 10 times and never got anything decent from him. =( what are those daggers worth anyways? Are they even worth the effort is what I am getting at. Thanks.

henchies are the greediest players in all of GW, they even take shit when they get stuck half a mile away i understand "paying" them but com'on

i got a green dagger when doing quest from a boss in that jugle place while doing the kurzick factions quests. That place will be hard to solo though.

I got kenshis daggers after 4 tries with full henchies, meaning I was really really lucky. So it can be done, but its not exactly rocket science.

I got some cheese-dick smiting staff on the island that's not even close to max. Why's it green? Beats me. I got it from some boss, but the stats are far from stellar. That's the only green I've seen.

2 tries for the daggers outside of maatu with my rit solo.
goten a few greens (like 4) over the course of playing through the game and caping all the elites.

Luck of the draw. I got an Icy Dragon Sword on my first try on one char. Went back multiple times with others and never got it again.

12 tries, 2 dagger drops.
Interesting note: even if it looks like he's NOT holding them he may still drop them. On one occassion he had kamas and dropped the green daggers.

I think the low level greens are a great idea. I've gotten two of them and have used neither since I had pre-order daggers that were max, but for new players with low stats, non-max greens give them something a bit more powerful to use at lower levels.
Bearing in mind that my Assassin isn't off the island yet, the easiest green that I've gotten was from the Mantid Assassin boss just outside Ran Musu Gardens.
As soon as you step outside, you can see him. I was able to get two sets of the daggers within about 10 minutes. Not max or anything, but still cool to have.

I've had really good luck with Xuekao...One night I tried to 3-man him (me and two henchies) like 20 times. No luck. Next day on my first try, I get the daggers. A few runs later, I get them again. I have probably done 35-40 runs in total now, and I have gotten his daggers 5 times. Man I rule.

The easiest canthan green I got was in Melandru's Hope, from some mantid guy. It's called Chkkr's Pincers, I got these on my first kill of the mantid, and I was with a full party of real people. I like my new 3:1 vampiric daggers with +30 health and damage 15^50.

can it be that solo party gets less drops than 2-3ppl one??? i already heard some guy boasting he got them 4 TIMES and, well, sorry, but he didnt even think hes soloable, he admitted they go 3man him (which is hard for me to think, but wth)
ill try several times with henchmen (hope they dont get in the way)
