I am new to Factions so if there isn't any difference say it please.
But if there is, tell me which is more fun or has cooler cities and so.

this is so entirely based on personal opinion.. Personally I think the luxons have better looking armor and that their areas are more aesthetically pleasing.
obviously some people disagree with me.
HOWEVER, there are alot of people who are going to jump in any second and tell you that:

Luxons have bright areas and relaxed dress. You see a lot of light yellows, light greens, and vibrant reds in their cities and areas. They have a lot of nautical stuff, like boats, crabs, and turtles.
Kurzicks have dark places and formal dress. Basically dark greens and various shades of black. They like forests and long walks on the... mud.
You might try going over to Screenshot Exposition and looking up their armors.

Anyways, there are more Kurzicks than Luxons at the moment, so if you want faster 12v12s, go Luxon. It's easier to get faction with the side that your guild is aligned with, but you can still be, say, in a Luxon guild wearing all Kurzick armour.
Oh and by the way, white and black makeup are characteristic to the goth stereotype, whereas long hair covering the face and thick-rimmed glasses are stereotypically emo.

Kurzicks are unbareably pale (White makeup or just have never seen a glimpse of sunlight? I'm not exactly sure), wear all black, and seem a bit emotional (Come on... they sit and cry in forests...). If anything in Guild Wars is emo, it's the kurzicks. I wouldn't be surprised if I saw a kurzick npc sliceing his wrists.
