im curious if anyone has yet done any comparisons of the new factions bow types, versus the prophecies bow types ?
in terms of re-fire, time-to-target, and arc size to see where they fit into the matrix ?
ive not yet found any of the new bows to do this so i thought id see if anyone else had

Yeah: is a Platinum bow a skin that can have any performance? Or are they all, say, longbows?

There is a "Platinum Longbow" and a "Platinum Flatbow" that I've seen so far. I meant to test "Jade Bows" cause I don't remember them specifing what they are. But I think most of the new skins specify what bow type they are.

AFAIK, there are no new bow types. Only new skins.

I like the fact that alot of the new skin's I've seen come in multiple bow types.... Although all I really see are flat or long bows....

yeah I thought this too for a sec (ie where does plagueborne go) but then you notice they're all plagueborne longbow, plagueborne shortbow etc (and sometimes even move on to other lines like axe, sword and maul too) - which has the opposite treatment of armor (gladiator canthan armor).
