There are atleast a score of bots in Elona's REach right now. It would be funny if it wasn't pathetic. Stacks of Mo/W are just standing around doing nothing.
Maybe ANet should check it out, but I am not sure what they could do.

Diablo???
I know, its so pathetic. I don't understand why Anet just can't get in there with their big BAN STICK and sodomize those bots.

Because they have to verify that they are bots, not just people with no life.

Sometimes it's fun to just stand around and watch the conversations. How can you tell those are bots, not just bored or AFK people? (If you have a reason, I'd really like to know--I'm not terribly familiar with the bot "tells" in GW).

Anet should have some kind of a tool to detect "third party" programs (those thaht run the bots. other wise it will never end.
or just throw in a few low lvl necros that spam randomly and present no real danger to a player, even if its a 55 monk, that actually anayses the map and thinks, so he/she can avoid the stripper, not just automaticly goes on 1 specific way. do that and wach bots moving to farm hydras....

Saw them earlier today too. They walk in the same formation and stop right on top of oneanother exactly. Definatly bots. All lvl20 Mo/W with real generic names (i.e. Red Man, Blue Man, Green Man, ect..). I submitted a ticket to PlayNC, got an automated response. Oh well, I hope they ban them.

Well there is one way but it would just raise legel issues. That would be to have some spy program added to the games content so the next time you run the game the program would auto install and run silent. Then when you play the game it would send anet logs of what you have done on your computer while not playing the game. It could even send live action info of what your doing while playing the game. Logs that would include you downloading, installing and running bot programs but this would also record any personal info such as security info if you do online banking. In all this would be very illegal and anet would end up going under if ever caught. I should say 'when' and not 'if'.
