I doubt it. Most of it will mostl likely be focused on GW:F and its events and content. They probably do not have much to show about Ch 3 besides an idea and some concept scetches.

If everything is going as scheduled they should be quite far with Ch 3 development. Don't forget that there are two dev teams working simultaneously and that Ch 3 development was already underway when they were still working on Factions.

Well r3t I hope you are right. But how long has itbeen in development? Also how big are the teams. 2 things I do not know, dev team could be 3 people for all I know. I am not holding my breath to see chp 3 release by Dec.

Remember the early screenshots displaying Factions MM armor and Canthan Warrior armor? On that interview, the guy who went to Anet HQ said they gently tossed him out of the chapter 3 storyboards/sketches room : )

Chapter 3 has been under construction for approx 6 months now and the planned release is this fall, sometime around halloween, give or take.

they started working on campaign 3 in november (it was stated in an interview with whoever it was :X) so yeah it should come out around november or so.
they will probably start with campaign 4 soon if not just about going to start with it.
they give each one a year to get it done - we get a new one each 6 months. go figure!!!

I eagerly await the next opportunity to buy... err, I mean get the next campaign/chapter/rahrah. Factions Asian theme and monotonous mission following, though fun for now, is growing disappointing more and more. I'll sure, be back playing Tyria mostly when PVE-ing.
I liked the Tengu forms when I knew what they were without being hit upside the head with Japanilore, but still its fun for a while. Hope they captured enough FF and anime fans to bring in the profits to work on the next new game soon. Gotta make back some of the gold from the ebay farmers profits ya know?
Heck maybe the whole asian theme was to get them to play instead of bot?
At least I should be able to get my Ninja friend hooked enough to buy the game since he's a Final Fantasy lover still.

Chapter 3 there should be race changes if it comes out. Like tengu and so on.

They did mention that info on C3 will come out at E3..
I do agree it's too soon but they have little choice since C3 is coming out in Dec (ish)
Each game does have 1 year of development behind it mind you (two alternating teams developing at the same time). C4 started development about now and will not be ready till this time next year.

In the artbook that came with the CE there's a sketch of a massive underground city with lava "cracks" in the cieling, (maybe someone can scan it - I don't have a scanner), as well as concepts for dark monsters. I'm guess they either originally planned for the Kurzicks to be underground, or this is something from Ch 3.

If I remember they said they'd focus on Faction at E3, since it just barely released. Chapter 3 media would most likely be limited to some concept art, if shown at all.
