Rare material prices

I've noticed that after factions the rare material trader prices have bombed, ranging from a mere 100g to 3k, as seen below.

There goes ectos market..

and the shard market...
Now i know for the people who are saving up for FoW armor are jumping in their seats, but this drop has made me lose about 10k because of all the runs i have done and have gotten shards and ecto. Whats happening? Will it ever change?

PS: (for a merchanting tip, buy lots of these shards and ectos and see if they rise , crystalline sword is only a breath away)

10k is nothing, some people lose well over 250k
