... has anyone tested the use of Zealous Bow Mods on the different bows out there. I did rudimentary testing and it seems Zealous comes out worse off. I tried looking for some pointing it making an Excel sheet that could work out how many pips the actual Zealous was generating but alas no formulas.
Do you think its worthwhile the mod itself on a bow? Also if it has been done could someone direct me to the post?

one pip= .333 energy regen
i belive for example, the shortbow fires every 2.1 seconds
in 2 seconds, you have lost .666 regen (close enough)
you gain one energy per hit (Net +.333 energy a second, giving a ranger 4 pips)
obviously its pointles sputting it on a 2.7 refire hornbow

Assuming and in reality no missed shots from the bow. It would seem the anything above a shortbow would be wasteful for a zealous mod. What about under and IAS Stance?

I'm using my vampiric mod 5/-1 only to barrage large groups of mobs. The same can be done with the zealous. If you are able to hit 3-4 foes at the same shot, you've lost in those 2 seconds .666 regen, but gained +3-4 energy. Dont know how much energy regen pips this will make for your ranger, but it gets better when the mobs grow larger. (spirits also count, and with all those enemy rit's about these days...)

So does barrage, especially tiger's fury and barrage together.
