My guild is still deciding. Personally i'd kind of like to go Kurzick because i already have 10k faction with them from the FPE, but i'm guessing that my guild will go Luxon.

Luxon. I hate them, but that's what my alliance is. Their armor is gay, but Kurzicks are emo, so i guess the fair answer would be I hate them all.

I personally think its funny about this. there is something people don't seem to understand. The PvP portion of the game in regards to Alliance battles ONLY is the main purpose of Faction standing. this does not mean that if you go Luxon or Kurzick the others territory is unexplorable at all. Heck I had 10000 Kur PERSONAL faction and did all those quests today, but my Alliance standing is still Luxon. The game does not care...

The PvE portion of the game is still based on Personal Faction points, not Alliance standing.

Yes If your a controlling Alliance of the capitals, currently in the 1.2-1.8 million standing required to topple this you get access to the Elite missions for Cavalon and House of Zu... I still have not verified that if you are a guest of the alliance if you may join a party going there or not. I got to find that out some day... But That's about the only thing that alliance standing REALLY does...

However every other aspect of the game, Challenge missions, Fort Aspenwood, Jade Quarry, Hall of heroes, Arenas, Zaishen, Missions, quests, basically everything is completely independent of the so called alliance standing points. The game is 100% playable no matter what side you ally with. And heck its SO easy to change... I mean. Its almost TOO easy to change. But I guess thats ok in the end considering...
