If i created an account wit a factions access key, can i delete the account somehow and merge it?

Nope, as I recall, there had been a few notices that said that once your decision is made, it is completely locked .
So if you created a new account then it stays like that. once merged then you cant seperate it.
Gaile was explaining something about some 50/50 theory about mergers rather than seperate accounts.
Something about how if you create a seperate account, each char can only stay in their realm (cantha or tyria) thus you only get 50% of the material. But if you merge accounts, you get 100%
or something like that.....
And what I think is quite bad is the fact that since I live in NZ, the collectors edition came 10 days late. Therefore I payed double the normal price, by buying a pre-order factions, and a CE pack. Yet when I added the CE pack to my accout, it did not free up my previous key. Therefore I'v got two factions access keys on one account, yet only 6 character slots. WASTE!

I purchased Factions online with the intention of merging it with my existing Prophecies account. Somehow, it created Factions as a separate account. I went to the Customer Service/Support part of the GW website and opened a claim explaining what happened. They were able to give me a replacement access key for Factions so it could be added to the account I wanted. They just deleted the old access key. I thought I was totally screwed...but I simply asked and they took care of it!
