Best way to get tons of Kurzick Faction?

Topic. I need a whopping 70 Amber for this sexy armor...and that's quite the large sum.

(No, I'm not buying the Amber. I only have around 150k, and I still need money to BUY the armor!

)

Any ideas? I've tried Atruum Ruins Faction Farming, but most PuGs there don't have a clue.

I managed to obtain a nice sum of Faction (Already obtained 10 Amber from it) through Alliance battles, but they rarely go off and victory is inconsistant.

Any ideas?

(EDIT: Miscounted Total sum. But I still need 60k for crafting. And 40k for Black dye.

Farming Alliance battles on a sword w/mo with mending + healing hands works well for me, or even doing Aspenwood Gate on a w/mo healer with healing seed + healing hands (im on kurzick side so all i have to do is alternate those spells on the guy that needs to live to make the weapon.)

You could also try one of the repeatable quests that get you 400 faction. The Duelist quest just outside Brauer Academy seems like a good candidate, shouldn't take more than a few minutes with henchman for one run.

On the Luxon side the Supply Lines from Beakers Hollow can be done in ~2 minutes, just switch your secondary profession to ranger and buy the Stormchaser and Zojun's Haste (?) skills (increase running speed for a few seconds). After a few tries you should be able to easily do the quest while watching tv or alt-tabbing between Guildwars and GWGuru

The Kurzick version probably won't be as efficient because of all the crippling traps set out by the wardens, but I haven't tried.

...any advice how a Necro kills them? 3 Mesmers, 2 Monks, and an Ele doesn't make for a happy time.

I do it on my necro all the time:

Bring henchies first of all

2 Monks (prot/heal)
2 Warriors
1 Domination Mesmer (for interrupting)
1 Eve (for her very nice BR)
1 Aidan (optional Cynn for fireworks)
1 You (blood spiking necro)

16 Blood
13 Soul Reaping

Offering of Blood {E}
Dark Pact
Vampiric Gaze
Shadow Strike
Lifebane Strike ( or Vampirc Swarm)
Vampiric Touch
Awaken the Blood
Rez signet

1. Run to the destination avoiding aggro of various mobs. Watch out for the random Oni triplet spawn.

2. Gank the monks first. There are always two monks in the first row. They must die first. Then you can focus on the rest of the opponents. Failure to kill the monks makes this much more difficult. Fortunately they can't handle 2 warriors and your blood spike.

Note: You will not always face the same foes. Sometimes there will be a back row of only archers. Other times it's 2 warriors, 2 assassins and another named warrior. Sometimes it's two earth elementalists, 2 mesmers and a named mesmer. The front row always has two monks.

Ah, thanks. That made the killing easy.

Only one problem: It's still quite slow. According to math, it'll take 10 Hours to get all the Ambers I need.

All the 400 faction quest appear to be repeatable - in fact if you zone out they reset even if completed and no credit claimed, so be sure to get reward first.

i prefer to just do allience battles. u win, u ger 750 faction, u lose u get the factin points that u gained, should be at least 300.

Happily, I'm in a Luxon guild so I can do the supplies quest. It really does take 2 minutes to get 400 faction. Sadly that is still a lot of grinding...

80,000 faction for 80 Jade

400 faction / 2 minutes (from supplies quest) = 200 faction/minute

--> 400 minutes for 80,000 faction

400 minutes = 6.67 hours

I guess I'll have to mix it up with PvP and other FedEX questing just to keep my sanity.

Does it not bother anybody that all people seem to be doing in this new campagine is rushing and grinding?

What happened to the fun of doing the missions and quest and following the story line?

Stop complaining about ONLY 10 hours to get your kurzik/luxon 15k. FoW armor takes about 2-3 months of farming, if you farm for 2 hours a day to come up wtih all materials.

It's pretty obvious which one looks more badass, IMO.

Although I could save myself some time and money and take 15k Imperial Arms + Chest and 15k Kurzick Leggings + Shoes. (I'm not too fond of the Kurzick chest anyways...)

this might be a nooby question, but still i need to noe. Ok my guild is in the luxon alliance rite. One of my character did everyting and became a luxon. Now im wondering if i can make my warrior to go kurzik till i get the 15k armor then go luxon? Anyone want to tell me if its possible? ^^ plez dont flame me XD

You can change from Faction any time by getting more faction points for the other, Youre Luxon? start collecting Kurzick quests and get Kurzick faction.

1002Luxon Faction and 1000Kurzick Faction will get you acces to Luxon 1002Luxon Faction and 1003kurzick Faction will get you acces to Kurzick, its as simple as that, swap around when you want as much as you want, how ever keep in mind that when you have consumed all the quests with more faction reward you will be stuck to the 400F reward witch can be done over and over again.

Ow and as for the Kurzick quests (im Kurzick) do the dualist one. get there, kill them, collect, get back in, back to dualist grounds,kill them,collect etc etc

so far i found 4 quests witch can be done over and over again.

In the Army Now (Kurzick)
Dual of the houses->Recommended<-
Scouting Ferndale
Kurzick Supply Lines

there all good for 2000XP 400 Kurzick Faction 150Gold

the In the Army Now quest is in the same area as the dual of the houses one and is just as easy but takes a bit longer due to the amount of enemy patrols and the highly annoying Oni spawning there as well (Oni aint hard to beat, they just make an annoying sound and walk retarded)
