No Canthan missions for Tyrian Characters?

I carried over my max level Tyrian character and every mission area is blocked off. (ex. Raisu Palace, Vizunah Square) Perhaps theres a quest you have to do?

Yes. Continue the "Welcome to Cantha" quest and you'll be taken to Vizunah Square. Then you just follow the storyline.

It was designed so that running past mission would be impossible. Apart from the non-essential ones (Coop-missions).

just follow the quests from beginnin and ull get there :P
