Raisu Palace Mission
Drevik
Does anyone know what to do when you get to the Emperor? I've gotten to the end twice, but Shiro is invulnerable and I can't attack him. Not even my Celestial Skill works. Nothing else happens. Everyone just stands around until the timer runs out. Is the mission bugged or am I missing something? Considering the difficulty I've had getting through this mission with just henchies this is extremely frustrating.

The mission should end once you kill the final dual-boss group. Perhaps one of your NPCs died so that the cutscene failed to trigger? I've finished the mission a couple of times now and never had a problem at the end.
Drevik
I used Talon and the Male Elementalist both of which "do their thing" early on in the mission. I dunno, guess I'll just have to try it again and pray it works.
Drevik
Well, this Mission has completely ruined my Factions experience. Three times I've fought to the end of this Mission now and had nothing at all happen. I'm frustrated beyond words now. I even tried it with different henchmen this last time. I really wish ANet had some sort of in game support for game breaking bugs because this just makes me never want to look at Guild Wars again.

Did Master Togo and Mhenlo live?
Burton2000
Well the missions not bugged to my knowledge as ive done it twice now one with pugs and once henchies you have to kill the 4 bosses that are there and then the cut-scene activates.
Drevik
Yes, I've had Togo and Mhenlo live all three times. I kill all 4 Bosses and not a damn thing happens.

i just finished... it again... i find that it is easiest with argo for beginning bridge and danika (for heals) and towards the end aid...

any other tips for doing this mission with henchies? ive tried this mission all day yesterday and I fail miserably.
Im a ritualist with communing and restoration right now.
i even tried it with pugs. I even was able to get into a group with 7 people of the same guild. i figured that it would be easy then.
but we only killed 3 bosses by the time the emperors health dropped to nothing.
does the mission "end" when he loses all his health, or is that health meter just for beating it with the expert rating?

Ok, in case someone else has this problem here's what was happening. Apparently, in order to finish this Mission you have to kill *all* the bosses on the entire mission. My problem was I had found a quick and easy way to run through the area where the Ranger boss is and didn't kill him. This saved me tons of time. Now, I admit I don't read all the quest dialog carefully as I usually just skim through it to get the jist of what I need to do. But, I don't remember seeing it mentioned anywhere that you *have* to kill every boss to finish this mission. All it says on the Objectives is save the Emperor. In my opinion ANet needs to state *much* more clearly what the objectives are for this mission because it caused me a considerable amount of frustration.

Just completed it with henchies just now no bugs.

can i ask what your tactics were when beating it which henchies? As i said earlier im a ritualist, so hopefully its possible....

Take the tengu and danika for henchies. You may have to round the long way at the start, but later on they are real life savers.

It seems that when I get to the part where Danika splits off she comes back and heals the shiro'ken. Should I just not take her, or is there a way around this?
Drevik
I preferred to use Danika and Talon as my two NPCs as they seemed to save you the most time when they did their thing. For regular NPCs I recommend taking the Domination and Interrupter NPCs. Those guys are a big help in shutting down the Elementalists. Always try to kill them first as they can dish out a load of damage. I always had Temple Strike equipped on my Assassin so I could Daze the Elementalists and effectively neuter them. Other than that it's all about pulling carefully and trying to keep your Hench spread out when fighting Elementalists.

thanks for the input, i may try this again tonight.

well since no one posted it then i think ill start off ...
The following are what each npc does (if they are alive) to help you quickly get past an area. Remember after they help you they are gone and does not help you fight..
Danika (Monk): closes off an area and leads you through an easy corridor with acid traps. This area is right before the area with the emperor. Thus she heals you for most of the important parts before she does her thing.
Argo (Ritualist): in the beginning he drops the huge wall with the statue of the emperor. This way you do not have to fight the first mob. Remember he disapears after that so he will not be there for the remainder of the mission to aid your party.
please post the rest if you know them

one intermittent bug I have seen with this mission:
If you take Argo as one of your support henchies, he'll blow out that center piece and then hang behind (as he should). Occassionally, togo, mhenlo, and your other support henchie all get stuck behind him failing to follow you. If you got to the end without togo and company (their names go gray in your party list), I doubt the final cutscene will trigger. You must go back for them and free them from Argos grasp! ....or just restart.
I prefer Talon and Danika, just to avoid this issue.
I have so far only been able to expert this one but not master. Anyone gotten master, and if so, how'd you go about it?
p.s. I am told that cynn does some thing with a bridge toward the end that is fairly useless if you know how to run past to the cutscene, but I haven't seen it.

Talon (warrior) he locks the two spawning points in the second area.
'The other assasin than Nika': Disables traps in (I think) the 5th area.
