Missing Mini-Pet?

According to my oldest screenshot of my oldest character, he was created on 5/6/2005. But no mini pet showed up today (5/6/2006). Anyone else know for sure if it was 1 year to the day when theirs was created? Or does it take 1 or 2 days more?

Yeah wait a couple days, my girl was made 28/04/05 in the final BWE and she got her pet on about 30/04/06. It'll turn up.

Does your minipet show up by your characters age, or your acount age? If it's acount mine will show up in no time. If it's character I got a while to wait.

its based off the day youtrre character was spawned not account based its a good job for keeping char's up for a year

Oh, so are there any other ways of getting mini pet? Like as a reward, not by buying one.

Minipets/Birthdays are accurate to the microsecond. If you dont have one by (today, your post was yesturday) then you have reason to worry.

type/age to see how old a character is.
note you do not want hours played but the number of months listed
*you have played this characterxxxxxxxhours over x months*
when months is 1 year you get the b-day pet

You get it sometimes one or 2 days later, my friends pet showed up whoel 4 days after (she checked, her char said 1 yr and it took 4 days after that for the pet to arrive)

Yeah same, I made my character on the 28th a year ago, and I didn't get my pet until about 6+ days later.. But my friend, who made the character the same day got it exactly on the 29th/30th. Don't really understand how that works, but I guess you'll just have to be patient.

It might be that a-net program to check on character's birthdays run on set days so as to save on resources? This is of course just my speculation. I still have to wait 8 months

I suspect this is true - they probably run a periodic batch job to grant pets to all chars > 12 months, so around a weekend things may slip a bit.
3 more pets coming over next month!

lol...i think how it works is that you get one pet per account. so, w/e char you log in with first is the char that you pet gets added to

No, it's per character, based on the character creation date. The mini dragon for CE might be per account, not sure.
