Can I be in a Luxon alliance and get Kurzick armor?

Subject says it all
I want kurzick 15k for my warrior but there's a chance my guild will vote to go with luxon...
One solution I'm thinking of is getting out of the guild, farming faction until i have enough for the armor, get armor, get back in the guild - will that work?

Read the posts about being in a guild of one alliance, but being in another, it appears that you can be Kurzick in a Luxon guild.

You can also be entirely luxon and just slowly farm faction for Kurzick to get to that location, theres no need ot leave your guild.
