Crashing

Hi all

I have had guild wars factions since it was released but I have recently been experiencing crashes (Ive experienced 2). The screen freezes to the point that the cursor doesnt even move and I can't minimise it and the sound also freezes, but sometimes after a while continues whilst the picture is frozen.

PC Specs:

AMD Athlon 64 3500+
1GB DDR400 RAM
200GB HD
Nvidia 7800

Whatcha got running in the background? Anything auto-updating, scanning, conflicts?

I dont believe so. I have Kaspersky antivirus on autoprotect and I suppose if the crashing keeps re-occuring then I could disable that. Apart from that, the usual stuff - ICQ, MSN, Xfire.

It's worth a try, maybe disable it and start playing, then see if it freezes up again. If it does, then it must be something other than that. Could be simply just a loss of connectivity, but I've had that before, and it didn't make anything freeze up.
