nope..I like it this way was well.

Since then it would be the team that had a pair of Healparty/Order of Pain/Etc spammers that would win.

I think all partys should be linked in team chat though.

I believe that the suggestion has been made (in the 29,384,029,384,209 threads in the Sanitarium and the PvP-Alliance forums) that all 12 should appear in the party list, BUT the other 8 players should appear as allies, just like pets and NPCs. That way, though Heal Party, Aegis, and other All-Spells would still only affect your party of 4, you could still coordinate and Monklove on your entire team of 12. ^^

What Redly said would be perfect.. PLEASE.. now it's a pain for monks, because your 4 man party shatters out anyway, and it's a pain trying to click on a running character between a few dozen minions/other players.

I understand why people aren't in the same party. Heal party and other similar spells would be grossly overpowererd otherwise.

However, being unable to see your allies health bars, and being unable to comunicate with them outside of whispers and local chat is very bad system.

The old system is ripe for abuse of party-wide skills, but the ability to communicate made it more fun. If the other teams appeared under 'allies' in the party window, and were still able to use team chat, that would be just fine.

I have found that it isn't too hard to get groups of 4 together, however, the inability to communcate or see the health bars of the others makes any sort of team-wide tactical communcation impossible. Additionally, it would be nice if people could form parties of their own size (they would be seperated from party-wise spells perhaps), but I don't know if such would be popular. Either way, a very large strategical element is lost in the lack of information in the form of team-wide communcations and health bar/selection ability.

Should be much more like the alliance battle of old. If you are worried about the heal party spam, have the other 8 members appear as allies. Also, we should have the option to enter alone, as in the old alliance battles in the preview event. Its becoming a little more "leet" now, than just having fun anymore.
