Welcome To Cantha - Gone.....

Ok so a friend needed that quest, we weren't sure if she had done it. I know you get it at the docks, but the guy was not spawning. I abandoned mine to see where the guy was, and now I can't find him either.

I tried looking for Mehnlo, of course he doesn't spawn without quest.
I tried going back to the docks.
I tried going to the Monastery Island and coming back.
I tried going back to LA.

any ideas how to get this primary quest back?

i've heard from many people saying that.. abandoning the Primary Quests, they are gone for good.. i don't know if it's true or not.. but if it is.. that sucks.

Talk to First Watch Sergio, he sends you outside to find Mehnlo
Talk to Mehnlo right outside the gates, he sends you to talk to a person at the docks.
The guy at the docks will send you to Cantha.

At least thats how I have done it twice.

Sorry, I have no idea. It didn't happen to me. I didn't even take the quest at the docks right away to. There no way Anet would make primary quests go away pirmanently unless its a glitch in the server seeing as you HAVE to do primary quests to even advance through the game.
