Factions armor question? does luxon or Kurzick over Canthan matter?

Is it to my benefit in some way to choose luxon or kurzick armor over canthan?


Say my guild is siding with the Luxons but I buy Canthan armor because I like the look better, will I be "penalized" in some way?

I seem to remember that certain npcs will not talk to you if you have certain armor on, but I cant find a reference to that information.

It's purely looks. The NPC's that don't talk to you, choose not to talk because you do not have enough faction with that nation. Nothing to do with the armour you have on...
