Names sounds stupid i know, I have been wanting to use watch yourself, since i am a a/w and i plan to stick with it Well here is my build, i worked on it for oo about a half hour

Critical strikes 12+ 1 (+1 from mask also if you want, i personally did)
Shadow arts 8+1
Daggar mastery 10 +1 (+1 from mask if you don't have critical strike mask, i think i might go buy a daggar mastery one once i get some freaken Assassin runes)
Tactics 2

Armor: Mask of choice
Chest peice +15 al while attacking
legs +15 al while attacking
gloves +1 energy
feet + 1 energy

( or other parts to the +15 al while attacking, the extra energy didn't hurt, and most of the time you appertnly are not hit in the gloves or feet, i guess that's why they usually don't give as nice bonuses.)

Daggars of choice - Zealous daggars of enchantment, a plus 5 energy mod might go well in this build, i haven't seen it in action enough to tell whether or not to use it with the zealous mod, since i don't have one, the best mods i could think of would be plus 5 energy with 20% damage while enchanted, if you could even have the 2, but if you could man it be freakne sweet, custimize it and man that so so freaken rock. If one could make enchantments last longer, there would be less down time for each shadow refuge and way of perfection, which would be cool too. Although I'm kinda broke atm, Cheap/Poor assasin ftl

1 Critical eye - energy managmet plus damage

2 Way of perfection - a nice heal in this build, and i havn't met that many enchant strippers in factions...

3 jagged strike - low energy super fast recharge, and bleeding

4 wild strike - for the same reasons as jagged strike, but i like it better than fox fangs

5 Critial strike - costs nearly nothing, will cost nothing once i get some bloody zealous daggars, plus it will trigger way of perfection for a easy 50 heal

6 shadow refuge - well it's a heal, cheap one, plus this build is kinda involed with fighting a lot, so the 50+ health while fighting will help a good bit.

7 watch yourself - easly spammable and nice team support to help the tanks taking the aggro that don't bring it, plus it basically will give you 105 al while attacking

8 rez- If you don't bring it your team will disown you

PVe throws us a curve ball fellow assassins, and a lot of people simply don't want us sins So i wanted to make a build that could hold its own for the most part, the bonus healing from critical strikes is very nice, not to mention with critical eye you will hit a lot of extra critical hits

The healing is pretty good as far as assassins go, The AL is sweet, very comparable to tanks for the most part, at least while you are attacking, you shouldn't be the tank, so don't rush in first, but you can take a decent blow, shadow refuge is alright in this, the extra heal is nice because damage is a constant and the damage although the extra bonus AL from watch yourself cuts down damage, you still need to have healing

And despite what you think, a monk can't heal you 24/7

So i hope this build goes well, Any recommendations please tell me

P.S. Just because i have said many stupid things before don't let that sway what you say

It's surprising how well assassin builds work against monks. By nature, you're designed to kill quickly, that's why mesmers love you so much^^

Yeah, it is pretty easy to cut a monk in half. Espcially a caster hate assassin.

I like it, but the lack of teleportation skills irks me a bit. Do you ever have problems getting to your target? (ie. attacking a mesmer who happens to have crippling anquish)

Not really, i guess i could try to put in a teleport, but i have never really had too bad a a mesmer problem, well at least when i go with Pugs or freinds, henchmen i tend have lots of problems, since im in first i get all the aggro. Which isn't too sweet.

I guess if you went A/mo, you could have a shadow step instead of watch yourself, and just use resurrect as your rez. Watch yourself is just a good thing, so i wasn't planning on changing that, this is not a pvp build by any means.

I guess i haven't seen too many snare things in PVE simply crazy things to blow you up. Which is why i wanted to have something that would protect you pretty well, as long as you yourself attack also.

This build doesn't pack much punch though. From what I saw it only causes bleeding, which in most situations isn't enough.

You're a melee type.

Sad to say, but without Deep Wound [aka Twisting Fangs...] the majority of assassin builds I've seen aren't worth a few dimes... In PvE, it's easier, that's for sure, but for just killing PCs, you WANT Twisting Fangs...

Your build might as well bring Victory is Mine! {E}. Watch Yourself is for real tanks... That and it's heal will be far greater than Shadow Refuge if you're condition happy, which you should be... And even if not that, you can use it to give you energy without landing crits. You only have Jagged Strike in there with only ViM!, that's a free heal... You've got to do more...

one nice combo with A/W is watch yourself and bonetti's. one is basically free armour and bonetti fixes the assassins energy issues during extended battle. fueled by adreniline this is basically a auto recharge to maintain an assassin offense. nice pick up but try bonetti.

There Is No Cow Level [cow]

You have no snare.

You have no increased attack speed.

You have no increased movement speed.

Wild Strike has to be one of the worst skills ever. You remove their defensive stance -- by landing two consecutive hits? Give me a break.

Why do you not have 16 dagger mastery? That's not optional for a daggersin. It increases damage, critical hit chance, AND attack speed by way of increasing double strike chance.

Both Shadow Refuge and Watch Yourself are not good for a sin. Use Dark Escape and if the attention turns to you get the hell outta dodge.

You have no elite. There can be reasons for not taking one, but there aren't many. Aura of Displacement ftw.

2 the two skills were simply the fastest i had recharge wise, i didn't want them to take longer than critical strikes

3 Watch yourself owns

4 meh, i made something for surviving in mind of the current pve, espcially missions where you are surrouned and you can get messed up no matter how much you teleport around.
