Everybody is talking about the new alliance system, but I can't find out how exactly this works. There is nothing in the manual it seems. Can someone please explain? I know you can join one or the other, but where do you go PvP to help an alliance? What are points?

your guild joins an alliance. then you go to the guild hall (after they choose a side) and you can fight for them at an npc.

Don't worry about getting into the elite missions! =(

Also dont worry bout being in an alliance for the majority of the game, for some reason AN limited the alliances benefits to the end of the game only. God knows why.
