Problems Attacking?

Is anyone besides me having a problem with their ritualist not attacking?

No problems with my Necro/Ritualist. Just my Primary Ritualist. Have recreated and having the same problem with the second one.

I can't attack as usual by hitting C, then the spacebar. It will run my character up to the mob and I'll just stand there.
If I try and target, I'm informed I'm following the mob.

If I create a spirit of pain, it will attack it, and then my spells that attack *through* the spirit will hit the mob, but my attempts to physically attack are still doing nothing.

Is it even possible I'm the only person experiencing this? *boggle*

Any suggestions?

I have never had this problem. You know you can't attack if you hold an urn, right? That's pretty much the only thing I can think of...

I think your holding an urn, i do that a lot and end up charging into a group of warrior and assasin afflicted holding a poxy vase!

btw its the "tab" button not "C"

"C" Button targets the closest target, "Tab" Button scrolls through all possible targets.

I mainly use C and space bar. Ive had that problem a couple times. Everytime i was holding an item.

Nope. Not holding a thing but my starter weapon!

But interesting. Wonder if I'm somehow flagged as holding something...

More interesting to note (to me), I'm targeting mobs as if they were allies. Oddest thing to be trying to follow mobs by trying to attack.

Maybe I'm just a monster at heart.

GW Support is apparently still looking into the matter.

I've been having a slight problem like this, I have clicked to attack a monster but my character just stands there. This has happened on my E/Mo, Rt/R, and Mo/Me, but all I have to do it click it again and it usually starts attacking :S.

I knew it would end up being me, when it wasn't a widespread problem, but in my exhaustion I couldn't figure it out.

I wasn't holding an urn.

I wasn't holding *anything*.

Apparently, trying to attack bare-handed doesn't really get you anywhere

I'm wondering if I never noticed before because either I always had direct offensive spells (seems unlikely from the start), or because in Prophecies I didn't have the pre-order edition, and I'm wondering if the pre-order, as it starts you with a couple of special items, doesn't start you automatically equipped with a starter weapon?

I never noticed before, perhaps that's not it, but that's what I'm guessin.

That following the mob thing also threw me off. I still think that's a little odd.

If you're too tired to figure out simple problems, it might be time to get some sleep, such is my new philosophy
