when your pet dies i think only the beast skill should reset and not all your skills.
Can this get changed its bad when you play with henchmen and the healer does not heal you and you go to heal yourself and your pet dies now you have to wait while waiting now you just die. i think its un fair

i think its the price you pay, pets add alot of damage, im a big fan of beast mastery and at lvl 20 my pet hardly ever dies, and its a Dire, which means it deals (much)more damage but has 60hp less than a elder/unevolved pet and 120hp less than the hearty, ofcourse none of the other evolved pet-types matches the Dire's damage output. i dont think it really needs to change but it would be nice. (i got a pet with my necro and it suck when it dies while casting a minion)

You took a pet along it wouldn't be fair to let it die and not let the ranger or x/ranger not take a consequence for having a pet.

That's the entire reason for that penalty - heartlessly letting your pet get killed!

It's only on the death of the pet now anyway.

Guild Wars implemented that feature for a reason. Having a pet brings along a big bonus for damage, and so it is only right that when it dies, you should be the one to get punished for it. Besides, it's not really that big of a deal. Just don't party with henchmen!

You have a bond with your pet. When s/he dies, you should suffer in some way.
