Another Factions rant: how about fame?

Just occured to me. When eople came and complained about rankism in HA, about not being able to get a team and so on, there were some rumors of all the new ways you could earn fame in Factions.

So where the hell is the place in Factions where you can earn fame? Please don't mention that you can go to HA from Factions, i`m not retarded.

So what's the new way of earning fame? Anyone tried the random 8v8 ? Maybe there you can get 1 fame after 10 consecutive wins.

So, I think Anet tricked every PvP player who hoped for a new way to score some fame (in the case Anet promised anything related to earning fame).

I din't trick myself. I din't expect anything, I`m talking about the rumors. Like with the new alliance stuff and battles there would be a way to gain fame.

Didn't they move all pvp as such to the battle island? And while we're on the topic of fame, where in Tyria do you get fame? I thought it was only if you did hoh?

And yes, there is random.. well.. you do have 8 people on your team randomly, but you get to fight a bunch of npc's as well as the other random team.
