This might seem like a really dumb question, but I'm just curious as to what settings I should have turned on or off on my GFX card.
I've got an ancient GForce 4 MX 440, not sure if it's the AGP one or whatever I think it's just regular.
I'm pretty sure it's not compatible with DX 9 .. so that's a bummer, but as for general card settings I was wondering if anyone could help me in terms of what I should use or should not use, because right now the only box I have checked under Performance and Quality Settings is Anisotropic Filtering (which is set on Application-Controlled).
I'm pretty sure this is default, but to be honest I have no clue what I should be looking for on the settings tab.
In-game under options I've got the 'Wait for Vertical Sync' box checked and Anti-Aliasing at 2x and it seems to run a bit better.
I understand I won't get amazing quality with my computer, but if there's any way of upping the performance without over-clocking, seeing as I can't even do that.
Help would be greatly appreciated.

I used to have one of those exact same cards a long time ago, mine was AGP. There's not really much you can do to tweak them, besides keeping up to date on the drivers. Mine only was capable of AGP 4x as well as not working too well with DX9, so I tossed it and got a better vid card. Most of them really aren't too good for the current line of games out there. I would look into getting a better one.

the MX 440 should be a PCI graphics card, very out of date now, so i would agree with Matsumi, look into getting another card, GeForce 6 series are going quite cheep now :P
