Critical Strikes 11 (10+1)
Skills:
Caltrops (cripples opponents from a distance)
Jagged Strike (lead attack, causes bleeding)
Jungle Strike (offhand attack, adds damage to crippled opponents-use when temple strike is recharghing)
Twisting Fangs (dual attack, causes deep wound and bleeding)
Temple Strike (elite offhand, causes dazed and blind, always use this one unless it's recharging)
Death's Charge/Shadow Refuge/Return/Shadow of haste/dash (this is your utility slot, many skills go well here to complete the build)
Plague Touch (use to transfer negative conditions to your opponent, blind is your primary concern)
Resurrection Signet (use to resurrect a dead team member, if you only bring 1 skill, bring this!!!)
I've tested this a lot in RA, and a little bit in GvG, and so far I'm quite pleased with it, it's not ofcourse, the build to end all other builds, but it works for me. In 4v4, the only monk that can stand up to it 1v1 is boon/prot, and even then only if they're good, but then again you're not going 1v1 against the monk, so it gets the job done.

I have noticed that as an assasin you can somtimes end up stuck for a second or two if you have your only lead attack interupted.

What are you talking about ? Fox Fangs is the offhand that cannot be blocked or evaded. Jungle Strike deals variable + damage based on whether your target is crippled or not.

True, I guess it still needs some work, I just chose jagged strike as a lead because it only costs 5 energy, has a low recharge time, and twisting fangs is often recharging. The lead attack gets blocked a lot, so the 4 second recharge is nice. I'll probably consider leaping mantis sting or disrupting stab as an alternative lead attack.

1 on 1, the assassin can cripple from a distance, then move in and pull of the combo, causing blind, dazed, crippled, bleeding, and deep wound. If the warrior somehow gets the upper hand, depending on what skill you brought, you can cripple and then back off and regen with shadow refuge or use death's charge, or run away and regen if you have to, and then move in for another combo. This thread isn't really to argue about assassin vs wammo, I'm not gonna lie, assassins are weak, but they can take down casters in a few seconds, and blind or cripple anyone attacking them. I'd say in random arena you're probably gonna get killed a lot if you don't have a good monk on your team, but other than that, you should be ok. It's a fun build in my opinion, I've even tried it out in a few gvg's. So anyway, yes you'll probably get killed by a few w/mo's, but it's still a very effective build.

Reguarding to fighting againest W/Mo, the combaination of Glad Defence, Repoise and Healing skill such as Healing Breeze can be rather difficult to combat.
I dont always have the right skills with me, as killing a war is not my only intention. But I managed to sometimes get though one of their stances using the combaination of Way of Fox and Wild Strike. But still, due to the high HP, by the time their HP get low, they could have enough time to use Glad Defence or other stances again, by this stage, Way of Fox is recharging, which you can not always get through with your attack.
The other which I find very diffiuclt to combat is Ranger trapper, I would say, they are harder to fight then wars.

You're right about that
I was assuming that the warrior wasn't tanking, because if that's the case, he's probably the last one alive on his team and you won't be going 1 on 1 anyway. Staying alive the longest doesn't always contribute to the team becasue everyone just ignores you while they fight people that can kill them. I guess it's alright in RA because there aren't always monks, but seriously, I can't stress enough how bad tanking in pvp is
again though, I know there are a lot of people that would argue about the usefulness of riposte on a warrior, but warriors are your last target anyway. I still remember the good ol' days of ascalon arena where everyone thinks you have to attack the w/mo. Anyway, aside from that, it's a fun build and quite effective, and if you end up having to 1v1 a tank, it's probably because your team isn't good. For the record, I'm not against w/mo for pvp, or tanks in general, but there are too many people that give them a bad name. Oh, and you can just plague touch the trappers :P, which are usually just an annoyance unless you're facing a well coordinated vim team.
