Insightful Raven Staff of Defense (Req 8 Illusion)
10% recharge
10% fast cast
+5 energy
+5 AL

1. i can't remember if it's a rare skin or not... if not then i guess around 5-10k
2. that i know it IS an ugly skin should be around 50-60k

Hmm, I thought Righteous Maul was a rare skin, or so I've been told. Well, guess I overpaid on both :P

Any other opinions?

rghteous mauls were at 150k then dropped to 100k then 50k. i picked up a req 9 one a while back for 20k. they spiked then fell rapidly in price

Oh now I think I remember, this was the hammer that was a pain in the arse to PC last time. Dug up the thread when I was using the search, odd that I was one of the PC'ers too...

So the Raven Staff is 50-60k? It's ugly, but I thought it's kind of rare? Okay, maybe not, cos the Trolls drop them all the time, but still. I remember these were 100k+ pre-Factions/update. After the update, I don't know what the heck it's worth...

no one knows what thinks are worth nowadayz really.. u can just wild qeuse but yer old items are not wanted no more .. req 10 15> fell for 50 k req 9 15> for 80.. ect. so..

So when do you suppose prices are going to stabilize?

not, or atleast look at it this way
everything is new yet drops perfect
giv it a month or 2 and everything will be infladed
nothing besides dwarven / serpent / crystalline's will be rare
zodiac appertnly rarest of faction items but..

anyway yer market wont be stable for a long time. / never will be again,
cause what happens when we hav to many perfect items and no more buyers..

the way im seeing it.. u open 10 chests get 2 perf items.. and lots of poeple farm chests. so yea.. u kno what i mean.. hopefully

saw a req8 15^50 fell sel for 109k and req8 15% in stance fell for 40k. prices are going down to hell....

Never they just will keep falling... more and more perfect drops, new chapters with new skins, etc.... You'll see in a couple of months how many perfect weapons will be around for sale. Trading=dead

Is this what ANet intended? To kill off trading entirely so that they can get out of implementing an auction house?

i personally see little reason for myself to carry on playing. i loved it when a good staff cost 1 million gold. or when longswords cost 100's of k. now i have been buying up 10/10 for 50-100k O.o still i am sure there are a few undiscovered rares. would be nice to still have uber stuff left to buy.

I think they want to make the game appealing for the casual user who can't afford to spend 500k on a weapon... and they don't want people to buy money from Ebay.. and they want people to stop trading and get into pvp/pve.. and blah blah blah... Trading is still doable for who likes it, but it's not as satisfying as i could have been in the past.

But but but, there're perfectly good collector/craft/green items for the casual players that are just as good as the stuff that cost 500k. If they want rare skins, then I say they should work for it like the rest of us, and not get it by cheating and complaining to ANet.

staff 50-75k

most 10/10 caster stuff will sell for 50-75k now ghostlys will be 200-300k
shadows 50-100k

Meh...I think I'm gonna stop buying stuff for a while...a long while...

Hmm, didn't find any req 8 15>50 Righteous Mauls for sale in the past month (search button FTW), so they've got to be pretty darn rare, no?
