need a little help on revealing this spot
ophidian409
I have difficulties revealing this spot, the left pic is from GM catographer, the right is mine, red is the walkable route in the mission. I have been trying to run in mission several times but I can't reveal that fog and then I try to reveal it in Ascalon city but still to no avail, can anyone give me a little help? I think its also a problem of some people if they look carefully.

Well, according to this map: http://guildwars.tentonhammer.com/fi...etaLabeled.jpg
I don't think it can be revealed. Of course, I could be wrong and looked at the wrong spot.

There is a path to take as you are running back, right after the last bridge, where Charr rush out at you. Take that path and you'll get that spot. FWIW I have a post in the community works forum where we've been working to compile a completely revealed map. That thread is a good place to get these kinds of questions answered

Yes that red line is the route which i head to the bridge after the counter starts and that red line is the closest I can go to that spot. If you are sure about that mission can get me that spot I will try it over and over again until I get that spot even though I've already tried it several times.

I seem to remember being able to get to that black area by the path I spoke of. Maybe we're talking about different ones. You can whisper me in-game if you want and I'll run it with you.
edit: I think your red line is the FIRST path you can take, but what you want is the LAST. A good way to pick the right one is progress through the "retreat" until the big gates open up for you near the end, then turn around and the path should be almost immediately to your left (as you face north).

If I recall correctly, a dozen Charr will run up a ramp towards you just before the gate. Head down that ramp (try not to get bodyblocked) and explore there.

Wow. I completely forgot about that area. Thanks!

Take some running skills to clear that bit because time is tight on that map and you don't want to stop for the charr either!
Good luck

I cant seem to find this way either........have gone down 2 different ways and still cant get over there....one is a dead end by the black stuff and the other leads to a door the charr come from and I still cant find a 3rd way there
I have repeated this mission about a dozen times looking for this path................

Umm, I also went down that right path before the final bridge and thought I had cleared that area completely and have quite a bit of haze there. Maybe need to find someone tonight to show me the route I missed.

It took me 4 runs to get all the area from the Staging area where the Charr come through the door, and the areas on the way back to the wall.
Three minutes isn't a long time!
But that's done for me now.

hm, still cant seem to find the path over there.....if you go right (west) right before the gate you dont get there unless I missed something along the way.........really do need running skills for monks

I tried on a warrior with at least 90 seconds to spare and can't get that spot. I may be on the wrong path though, but Charr do come off that ramp.
