Not only that but there is no Storage Agent or Traders up top to grab materials from even if you wanted to go back to do business as the NPC implies.
Attached is the relevant Dialogue from the NPCs and location he currently spawns a player.
Currently the only way to return to the Divine Path is to Defeat Shiro again. Which is not a bad thing. But this NPC presents some confusing information which was the reason I reported this as a bug.

I certainly hope that is a bug, I don't feel like having to kill Shiro every time I want to go and get my armor peaces.

I think you missed the point. It's not a /complain that you have to beat Shiro. This thread was pointing out that there is a NPC that is supposed to take you back to Divine Path and it is currently disabled or bugged.
My guess is that it is currently disabled so people don't ferry others that haven't beaten the game back to the end game exclusive stuff.

I did make a report to support. This is what beta testers do. Its a matter of saying there is a NPC saying one thing and doing another... That's all...
They will likely just change what the NPC says rather then change what happens...
And Firey... Not everyone uses Guru in conjunction with playing the game. If anything the thousands that do are still just a minority to the community overall. so that was never the point. This is not a complaint simply a bug report. that's all.
I made a post here for convenience and feedback in the ref of the report made to support.guildwars.com

If you look at the NPC's location he really is unaccessable from Kaineng Center proper. The only way to get to the ledge that the NPC is on is by porting out from the Divine Path behind the emperor, there is no way up there from Kaineng City, a guildmate and I checked.
This leads me to believe that the NPC's text may be a typo/wrong word. He says "We have business in the exclusive area." Perhaps it should say, "We had business in the exclusive area." And then he ports you down to the city proper.
