ok, its obvious that there is a concesious that there is a problem in the requirements to get into the elite missions. this thread is for us to voice our solutions to the problem. i would like to get as many, civil ideas and solutions so that it can be forwarded to to anet, gaile grey and anyone else in the gw admins and companies that has respect for us and wants to make the game more enjoyable for everyone. any solution is welcome, like what you think the requirements should be, how we can change ownership of cavalon/hzh, or whatever else you think is pertinant to this topic
again, please be civil in this thread.
req's: 1)must have beaten the game and killed shiro fast enough to get all 3 rewards, this will show that you work well with a group, it takes an organized group to kill shiro in under 2min15sec
2)Beat atleast 9 missions fully, getting all 3 swords(latest edit)
perk's: 1)If you're guild/alliance owns cavalon/hzh you get for free.
2)If you're guild/alliance owns a supporting town you get in for half price.
3)If you're guild/alliance owns nothing you mus pay full price.
4)If you are not part of a guild, but have a group that wants to go in, you must pay double price.
misc: 1)As far as getting discounts from merchants, allow people to use faction points to buy their discounted stuff, not gold, but also do not allow them to sell that stuff in trade or back to merchant, but keep it same quality as normal, or even make it better quality, depending on if you own territory or not. This gives bennifits to each person based on how powerful their alliances and guild are, but allows us all the ability to do elite missions
2)Make it a favor-based time line, same rules as fow/uw, adds another elite objective to the missions.

The obvious answer to anybody who isn't trying to be an elitist and control other players is to open up every single mission to anybody who's character has reached the entry point to the mission, otherwise known as the point in the story where the mission takes place. There is absolutely no need, nor any benefit to denying access to people based on any other classification, as the fact that certain missions might be difficult is completely irrelevant. If the mission is difficult, then people will fail it. There is no need to attempt to keep people out of a mission just because you don't think that they deserve it.
