i'm currently a level 18 wammo, the only way I can see to get to droks is going from beacons thru lorners. but even with a full group of henchies I dont' get very far.
Is there another way to get to droks? a mission maybe? or do I have to sprint/run there? or do I have to kill my way there.
I hear alot of people say that troll farming is for exp, but if i have to be lvl 20 just to get there, i don't see much sense in that.
any input would be great thanks.
noob question

Beacon's Path is a very tough trip, and it's not actually the way to go. If you continue following the standard co-op missions, you will arrive at Drok's as part of the story (immediately following your Ascension and Dragon's Lair).
Also, for people that want to get a lot of skills for their PvE characters, they need XP and levels after 20 to get Skill Points. Can't buy new skills if you don't have enough skill points.

this will come out sounding noobish, but that's ok cuz it is.
so you can still level after 20, but instead of levels you get skill points?... not really a question more of a discovery.
well the last mission i did landed me in divinity coast. how many more before droks?

isnt lvl 18 in divinity coast a bit too much? o.O
Master Kimchee
You could buy a run to Droks, but if this is your first character I would suggest experiencing the game. Sure you can get good armor and farm teh trolls and whatever, but getting to the desert and Ascending is probably the funnest part of the game, at least for me.

Is there a post that explains "Ascending"? I've heard of it before. But it's been a while.

Not really...Theres no such things as being as being to high a lvl...Theres being not high enough like lvl 10 at droknars.....But to get to that lvl 18 at divinty coast that must meen he did EVERY quest and spent many hours training and gettin huge amounts of xp, he could have used scrolls of insight.

Since you are at Divinity Coast, you still have to get to Sanctum Cay. Once there, complete the mission and it will take you to the Desert. Find the cities: Dunes Of Dispair, Thirsty River, and Elona's Reach. You should be able to find a few cities along the way. Complete the missions in the aformentioned cities and then you can ascend in Augry Rock. This city will be given to you (assuming you never found it in the first place) after the first city mission you complete. You then talk to the ghost there to ascend (and fight your doppleganger). Beat it and you get taken to Dragon's Lair. Beat that city mission and you are taken to Droknar's Forge.
I think there are a few cities between Divinity Coast and Sanctum Cay.
If you don't know what ascending is, basically its proving that you are worthy of fulfilling the your destiny (or at least someone who is worthy of facing the White Mantel and taking them down). So, you must complete the 3 city missions in the desert and then talk to the ghost at Augry Rock. Then beat your doppleganger. What is a doppleganger? Its a clone of yourself. Unfortunately, its not a very good clone of you. Its a beefed up version of you. So its not a duplicate of you (which is why I said not a very good clone). It has all the skills that you have on your bar. It has better armor, weapons and more powerful skills (usually). So whatever skills you have, it can use. Including it wielding an axe and using hammer skills.
It doesn't necessarily have the same weapons that you do, but it can use all skills the same.
Good luck.

If you're at Divinity Coast, you still have the jungle missions left, I think there are around 4 left till u get to Sanctum Cay, then you're on the the Desert, and hte real fun begins...

Ya, stick to the story until you get to Draknor's. Don't take short cuts with your first character. Save that for later when you've seen it all and don't have any suprises to spoil. Most people try to get to Draknor for the armor for PVPing with their PVE characters. If you are just doing PVE for now, just enjoy the story and upgrade your armor as you go.
One hint: armor from the desert collectors has the same stats as the Draknor bought armor - just a different look. I'm just into stats, not looks, so I often go desert collector's for my PVE characters.
