number of elites on your skill bar???

did anet change the amount of elite skills you are aloud to have on your skill bar or did i just happen to find a glitch...

It depends. Did your glitch occur when you just capped an elite? You can have two or more when you cap an elite and already have an elite on your toolbar.

While using a signet of capture, it is possible to capture and thus have more then 2 (I've had up to 3) elites on your skill bar at once. As soon as you leave to a town/new zone, one of those skills will automatically be removed from your skillbar (usually the "oldest" elite).

more precisley, they remove the elites from the right, so the first elite from the left will stay on the bar

They know what they are talking about. I first found this out in Abadon's Mouth I think (or the Ring of Fire). I capped Shield of Deflection and it went bye bye when I got to the next mission.

when you have just capped a elite you can have it on your skill bar until you change zones. You can still only use one at a time yourself.

If you mean you can only use one of the multiple elites in your skill bar, that is incorrect. When you cap an elite, with an elite in your skill bar already, you will be able to use both skills, until you zone out of that area. At which time, the one per skill bar rule will be enforced, as others have pointed out.

You can have up to 8 elite skills on your bar, until you go to a town/outpost.

I've had FIVE elite skills on my skillbar once, after a full Perdition Rock skill cap round. I still have a screenshot of it somewhere.

Must have been nice for the rest of the team when you went in with 4 cap sigs I wonder what the record is? All eight?

When I saw this title, I was like "OOOH, WoH + Spellbreaker FTW!!!" Oh well.

I don't think there is a single zone anywhere that has a total of 7 elites across only 2 professions, so it wouldn't be possible to have 8 elites on your bar. Whatever the max number of elites for two professions in a single area, I would assume somebody has done it, and the record would be one more than that, as you have one to start with.
