How EXACTLY do you get outa the Canthan....

How exactly do you get out of the darn Canthan Metropolis? I've tried nearly everything

-Explore every where just to find closed gates
-Attempt to do primary quests just to find i did one and died and it disappeared, can't find it again
-Attempt to do all the quests, takes too long and utterly takes the fun out of the game for me
-do the missions, yeh, dragonts throat, all i have to say is, Yeah... right...


I've done nearly everything i can think of but all i see around this accursed city is afflicted,jade brother hood, that one assassin group, and closed gates.. Any insight from you more experienced people?





Also i've noticed in pre seering that random level 10's will spawn outa no where shout I WILL DEFEAT YOU (master togo and henchies) and then run away then become attackable for like 2 seconds and then disappear... wtf chuck


**EDIT** Yes i noticed that one player help guide, but it didn't help me because for missions everyone hates Warrior/mesmers and i can't play wammo anymore as i get raped 24/7 as a wammo in this new city, and then of course i can't rely on henchies to do dragons throat

you don't have to do dragon's throat in order to advance in the game. the dragon's throat mission is a challenge mission, you get to see your team's highscore with the records guy there, and get drops/rewards/factions, etc. can't remember where you should go after dragon's throat, you can try looking up at guildwiki.org

Hmm okay, because i tried ot do seeking the oracle, but i ended up with a group full of dead henchmen and decided to run to NIka and i sparked the little talk session between her and the guards, but i died and left for the night as it was 1 am and school was in 6 hours, but anyways, i went back later that afternoon to the same place she WAS at and she wasn't there nor was the guards, only them collectors, so i think i got ripped or somfin,

You might have to start it over. One thing that's annoying is that if you map to a town before finishing a quest, some quests reset. Happened to me in one of the Kurzick areas. I had to eliminate four patrols. After doing so, I figured I'd warp back to the town closest to the guy who gave me the quest and then pop out to get my reward. Well, doing so erased the quest from my quest log. I had to do it all over again. Check your quest log--if you still have the oracle quest, see what you have to do next. If not, go back to where you picked it up and get it again.

you'll most likly have to "abbandon" the quest it's abutotn in the quest menu....
