Is this build now affected by the great AoE nerf of Oct 06?

It will work to some degree, but spirit bond did get nerfed. Now it will last for 8 seconds and x attacks, so if you try tanking, say, 23 smite crawlers, YOU DIE 
. This skill was amazing for a 55 necro, kcp's vid is in another thread of him taking out coldfires as a 55 solo necro with 23 smites banging on him through the whole thing, which he then dropped .
I think you'd run into recast problems tho, the recharge time is close enough to take on about 5 enemies at a time (at 10 prot prayers 10 hits is sb's limit, min recast time is 2 seconds) but you'd have to recast every 2 seconds, and with ret and hw on, there's no way u could.
