Tried a new skill set today, one that should be viable down in UW:
Mo/X Duo (not solo)
Retribution | Balthazars Spirit | Essence Bond | Vital Blessing | Spell Breaker | Protective Spirit | Spirit Bond | Blessed Signet
Casting Maintained enchants:
16 Smite, 10 Protection, 14 divine (all superiors, my 55 monk armor)
Fighting att's:
13 Smite, 8 Protection, 12 Divine (all minors)
Yeah, it's going a little back to what a 55 monk has, but with this build you can tank as many as you want and not die, as long as they are hitting above 60dmg each hit, and you aren't taking major degen.
Your health should be at about 621hp iir, and with p.s. you'll only take 62 damage. Spirit Bond is healing over 70 each time its triggered, which means you'll never have a deficit. No need for life attunement, or Aura of Faith. With two passive energy skills you shouldn't have a hard time casting p.s. and s.b when you need to, even with small groups. Worked very well against the trolls(health just stood there, didnt even move except when they couldnt do 60+dmg lol), and I even tried it out on the jade in the beginning of Ring of Fire (even with degen i was able to kill all of them before the mursaat got back to me). See what you think, I'll be trying it out in UW shortly.
EDIT: Tried this out in UW with some minor changes. I had a friend put max retribution and holy wrath on himself, and I just kept him alive. Works very well against the aatxe's but the grasping darknesses are so weak they cant trigger the spirit bond's healing, similar to the fierce avicara issue. Needless to say it was a slow death. Casting protective spirit and spirit bond proved to be not an issue as far as energy goes, but adding another skill in there like spell breaker seemed to get me worried when it came down small groups. Overall I found that it might get boring to be casting the same two spells every 8 seconds or so for more than 20 minutes. It was however more fun than going in there solo.
