First off; "i personaly like heal area so i can help out the mm". Lol, just lol. Heal Area makes and good monk cry. It is a terrible waste of mana and a terrible self heal. "Hey, these mobs are killing me. I know! HEAL AREA! Good ol' 1xx HP self heal." By this time you are probably thinking "Hehe, stupid mob can't kill me." But if you look, your warrior cannot kill that mob either. Because you're also healing it.

Second; "i like to bring purge conditions and remove hex" Purge conditions is a 20 second recharge, bad idea. Remove hex is a 2 second cast, another bad idea.

Third; "a pro monk brings 4 core healing spells, hb, heal other, heal party, and word of healing." Healing Breeze? Are you shitting me? Worst healing skill ever. Heal other is good. But Orison and Dwaynas are 100 times better. Taking Word is about the only thing you have done right so far. Where is the self heal? Oh, right, you don't have to self heal. You were tought BY THE BEST.

Fourth; Heal Party, in pve, with no energy management? You make me laugh.

Well, I love a good flame war...

I will smite you with my DOUBLE DRAGON OF DOOOOOOOOOOM! (tm) (and seriously, this skill is evil to get hit by at 60% DP when you're helping a friend cap it...it's worse though when you thought you saw the boss use it a second ago...meaning it should be recharging for a while).

Back on topic:

If you're depending on Shadow Form to help you, why not open with Golden Lotus Strike for the energy? I know unsuspecting strike is nice, but if something so much as pokes what you're going after before you get to it you don't get the extra damage.

You have 2 energy regen with Recall in the build...I'm not sure how well this would work, but if you know that the monk is in range, wouldn't Return be a viable option that would save you some energy (as long as you had energy to use it, I guess it would be fine).

I pretty much just started playing around with assassins...love them so far (warriors were always rather boring for me).

Perhaps this thread could have started (and continued sans res debate) on a slightly better tone to avoid flames. Generally making exagerated claims about builds that have only had a modicum amount of effort put into them doesn't get the best reception. Also try to not be biased about your build, look at it and highlight any problems think it might have.

As for the build I wouldn't exactly call it perfect, with 6 attack skills sporting a few 10e ones, I'm suspecting energy trouble does come along pretty soon, especially with 2 pips regen and only 10 crit strikes without critical eye, don't have a zealous to test out but even with the rapid attack speed due to dual strikes I doubt it's good enough to cope.

The attack skills themselves aren't perfect, unsuspecting attack is kinda nice, but pricey at 10e, and later on when the odd bit of aoe starts flying around from death blossom and the rest of the party, it's gonna go to waste on most enemies. Fox fangs and nine tail strike should go together in a combo, no point having a dual attack like nine tails if the off hand is gonna get blocked, though it's unlikely you're gonna face that much blocking in pve that you should carry it all the time, I'd only pack those if you know you're facing lotsa blocks/evades. Jungle strike and death blossom are pretty staple attacks, though leaping mantis sting, again generally works against your first target, then after that the fight's settled down and the only movement happens when an enemy's getting kited, and in that case you have to somehow get there to land the blow which can be awkward.

For attack skills, dual attacks are where the money's at if you're really after damage, consider looking at options to skip the lead attack unless it's there for a utility purpose, golden phoenix strike was mentioned, the ever popular horns of the ox + falling spider could have a space sometimes.

Never been a big fan of the shadow step skills in pve, they're made out to be a big part of the assassin but accomplish nothing decent agro control can't, sacrificing e-regen and a skill slot for a quick trip to heal is a big waste to me. If you need a enchant to trigger golden phoenix there's a whole host of better ones.

Shadow Form... Abit meh really, sure you may not die too much, but every time it ends you still require 450'ish healing and you can't do any of that healing yourself. Plus you're in the red area of hp (ok it's all red technically

) and monks are gonna have to panic heal you to stop you being finished off by a single whack from somewhere.

Overall it lacks self sufficiencey, could do with dropping recall for other options, and the attack skills could be better chosen too.
