Noobish question about a sword

Ok.. so that's the Quivering Blade :
Sword
* Cold damage: 15-22 (req. 9 Swordsmanship)
* Damage +15% (vs. hexed foes)
* Health +30

Every single person I asked about this sword answered me "it's awful, sell it to a merchant".

I'm certainly too respectful to discuss that but.. I usually fight against hexed foes (I mean, when one is not hexed, it's just because my mesmer and/or necromancer friends are too slow )... so I would have thought this sword could be useful....
So, I'm asking master Warriors : can you explain me why this sword is said to be so useless ?

People don't like the damage mod. The cold damage is useful, but people would rather see a sundering because they want to brag. Of course, Id be willing to buy it :P (i lost mine. long story)

That sword screams "Spinal Shivers". Really, that's all it's good for. Cold damage, +15% vs hexed. If it were 15>50, 15 in stance or 15 enchanted, it would have a lot more value. Why they even put a 15 vs hexed green sword in the game is beyond me.

Its funny. A definite novelty item for me

if it's useful for you, then why not go ahead and use it regardless of wot other people says? O_o

like said before, the reason people prob won't spend much gold to buy that sword is the +% vs hexed. Almost everyone prefers +% when health is above 50%, since for a warrior that's usually where their health is.

I personally prefer the ogre slaying knife!! "Its got a +9 vs ogres."
