Is A.net ever going to update weapon mods?

For instance, now that sundering is 20/20 instead of 10/10, is there any way to "update" my sundering bow? Or do I have to buy a brand new sundering 20/20 one?

Considering my Eles armour still sucks, no they probably won't.

same with my victos axe... i never use it and was thinking about selling it but once i saw sundering was 20/20 i cant get jack from selling it.

There's no mention of old mods getting upgraded, only the armors in the near future will be able to be upgraded for free. I'm kinda happy I sold my last 10% sundering a couple of days before the patch

i thought a NPC was going to be added to update existing greens and armor with the new stats?!? So a 10/10 dragos flat bow will get updated to 20/20.

i heard ARMOR would be upgraded

there was a gaile gray chat log last week that clearly stated that armor and 10/10 sundering green weapos would be upgraded.

This is getting annoying now, how many threads do we need on this. Maybe someone should start summarising Gaile's logs, because its clear most people dont read them

An NPC will be added to upgrade existing armour AND weapons.

What's annoying is how lethargic ANet is with these updates. People have been wanting them since it was originally made live. How about instead of people reading the "Gaile logs", ANet actually reads these forums, see's how upset and annoyed the public is and finally puts the updates in.

this has to be at the bottom of their list of things to do following minor things like swatting major bugs, making sure things are stable,little things like that.

if people are that impatient buy new armor.

Armor will be updated because a set can cost 75k. No weapon is worth that much, so they are not being updated. (Dont tell me they are, because unless you can get ~35k from a merchant (aprox. markup), they arent worth that much)

That's speculation, Mandy. There's a chance that they will, and a chance that they won't. We won't know until A.Net makes a way for us to make the changes. Whenever that will be...

Hmm. I checked at Droks and they are still selling the old ele armor there. It's only Cantha that has the new ele armor. I simply assumed the new ele armor is only available in Cantha...

Armours and Greens will be updated via a NPC in the future (I for one am glad they are getting rid of bugs before this), normal mods (like your bow) won't get upgraded.
