Luxon 1.5k better looking than 15k?

It's funny because I saved up the 80 jadite and other materials to go get the 15k armor. Then a funny thing happened on the way to the armor crafter... I went to guildwiki and looked at a picture of the 15k and then one of the 1.5k. Then I was struck by the fact that the 1.5k looked a lot better (at least to me).

I guess it's personal preference, but the 1.5k just looks like a cute goth/nec mini outfit. While the 15k looks clunky and overdone.

Anyway, I'm happy to have saved over 100k on crafting and just thought I'd share.

I'm just getting the basic 1.5k for my necro. I do however think the 15k female leggings look better than the 1.5k. I have a male necro, and will eventually get full 15k, I just want to get regular luxon 1.5k across all my toons.

PS: I still need to get the leggings and boots for my nec at least, so feel free to PM me in game, I will buy 8 jadeite from you to finish off.

15k is better because bigger spikes mean your a better necro. Didn't you know that?

However, the downside of the 15k is that it went back to the giant ugly shirt. No fun.

well.. that sucks.. male 15k looks much better then male 1.5k imo tho... sooo mayb female jsut got a lil ripped off.. and as he said.. bigger spikes = better necro lol (the endgame really follows this, but its more like more spikes = better necro)

For the Female 15k, the neck/chin piece looks really ugly if you look at it from the side/behind.

Actually, I think if I had to chose between the two, I would pick the 1.5K over the 15k because the 15K looks bulkier and less sleek. More for a male style then female.

I purchased the 1.5k top (The face guard is nasty on the 15k IMO,)15k everything else MM luxon style for my necro. Sorry luxons I went with the 1.5k kurz face scar. I don't really care for the other 15k face scars as I find their designs unappealing to me.

Although I'm not really happy with the 15k luxon boots. I still think the droks bloodstained boots dyed black look better in combo with the luxon armor. Maybe Ill salvage them and try out the 1.5k luxon boots. The 15k boots are just kinda big on a female necro, making it look like she's got pregnancy induced swollen feet or something. Maybe they will grow on me.

Does it really matter what is better between the luxon 15K or 1.5k armor? No, because the 15k canthan armor blows them and pretty much every other armor in the game out of the water.

Not everyone likes the canthan armor, I'm not that fond of it. I prefer my FoW and luxon style.

There's a reason there are so many different skins of armor with the same stats, it's not easy to figure out.

I have 3 full 15k set and 1 fow armor for my necro, this luxon 15k MUST be a part of my collection

Maybe they will grow on me. The reason I don't like the top is the bulk and the hidden face. Honestly, my Nec is really cute so I want her face to show. As for the boots... they have the same problem that the top has: clunky straps. Seriously, what is with those extra straps on the boots and arms of the 15k? are they for holding extra wands or staves?

Nah... I'm totally happy with my 1.5k Luxon set. I've seen the 15k Canthan set and 15k Kurzick... neither appeals to me.

Also, in terms of head armor I feel this way: Cute necro + scar/tats on face = less cute necro. I run with my headgear turned off on the necro so I haven't bothered to upgrade from the ones I bough in Droks.
