In prophecy we need ascended character to go to FoW but if i have only faction box , how can i get ascended character?

just for clarity. FoW. meaning the one at Temple of Ages. where you pay 1k to enter? correct?
It might be that the region you are in, does not have the favor...and you do need a team to go in (unless you're soloing 55s or w/e)...surely they would know they cant go in w/o favor...
unless you are referring to something else. plz specify...

If he only has Factions how is he going to get to TOA in any case?

As far as I know, no one's found an entrance in Cantha.
But even if there was one, I think "Ascended" means "Ascended," not getting "Closer to the Stars." carrotte
For Canthan to enter FoW , Go to Zin ku and kneel to Balthazar statue (same to tyria's temple of age) and pay 1K gold
When i try this it show Fissure of Woe loading screen then change back to zin ku loading and i get back to zin ku but only my friend who have prophecy can go in to FoW alone stone433
i have used the Zin ku UW entrence with my C1 55 monk and a friends C1 necro. havet tryed with a C2 char yet though.

After the temple mission you are left in area that suspiciously looks like the TOA (statues for all the gods). I have yet to see America in favor though (I might move to European servers >_>).

Ascending means rising up...aka getting close to the stars =)

the Fissure of Woe and the Underworld are both accessible...accessable....thing. from the Corridor you're dropped off into after you finish Tahnnaki Temple. To get to the statues, go towards the entrance to Tahnnaki. you should see an arch and a pipe that leads to Tahnnaki on your right. keep going straight and you'll see the statues of the Guild Wars pantheon.
There aren't any new divine areas ingame, just the same old Fissure and Underworld. just in case someone asks.

Ah. thx Polgara Darshiva...only answered the "Ascension" question, but forgot about the next "entrance" question. which carrotte only has factions. got it.
