Pretty sure it is ok based on the EULA, but here's a shot
Just wondering if there's anyone out there who purchased multiple CE boxsets, or just happened to have an extra factions sound track CD that is doing nothing in their house? Cos I'm starting to like the Luxon tracks quite a lot, yet the idea of getting tracks that won't even play on my Mac isn't very appealing at all, so perhaps then I'd buy it off you if you wouldn't mind
Buying just a Factions soundtrack CD? :D

Have your tried looking for it on any of the mp3 channels online? The thing is the Factions soundtrack also doubles as a key for bonus download music for the game.
So no one is likely to give you their copy. Plus its against law to make a copy as you would know.
My suggestion was also questionable, which is why I only say look.

Thanks for your tip, nah.. I prefer to encode my own files, so I guess I will order another CE boxset
At least the dragon pet makes it worthwhile.

The pre-order came with a Soundtrack too I believe. Those should be pretty dirt cheap now if you can find them [ebay]. Plus you'll get the ingame items as a bonus.

Search for Tunebite, it's a (currently) legal solution to playing the directsong WMA files on your Mac, assuming you have a PC in the first place.
P.S. pre-order CD is only 7 songs from the soundtrack.
P.P.S. Ebay is another place, I did pick up Dragon Fire soundtrack that way. I searched and there is actually one selling right now.

The "special" directsong code gives you 30 minutes of new music not found in the game or the GW:F (think Battlepak 1 for GW-P) and it plays in GW:F. It is not an DirectSong version of the Soundtrack (that's a different purchase)
Until the bug is fixed, the GW:F DS soundtrack does NOT integrate in to GW at this time (with a fix coming).
You can also buy the full OST via DirectSong from there website if no one has an extra they want to mail to you. You also have full burning rights on the OST (not the GWF CE DS pack).

Burn to CD, then you can encode from CD audio into any format you like.
Does not work so easily for Battle Paks however.
I am curious whether the CE DS pack will be avaliable for sale later, perhaps as part of a full Battle Pak 2?
