Do i need to finish Befriending the Luxons before I can move on?

I admit i am trying to hurry through to the last mission so I can get 15K Canthan armor

I have always hated the ranger Prophesies Druid armor (but like the extra energy benefit)

so, I have done both fort aspenwood and jade quarry primary quests - and it looks like i need to complete the "Befriending the Luxons" Primary quest before I can move on to the next mission - is this correct?

or am I missing something?

Yes, I believe so. I just did this and got the Nursery Quest. I think you'll need that to move on.

Yup, either do that one or befriending the kurzicks. Both are probably the longest quests in the game the first time you do them.
