How does farming Faction help you get 15K armor?

How does farming Faction help you get 15K armor?


Ive seen referance to this in a few topics but have seen no in game
information on this.

Am I able to trade faction points in for crafting materials?
I seem to remember reference to trading faction for jade and amber in the preview weekend but Im going for Canthan 15K armor I will need
gold, fur and shells to craft it.

Will farming faction help me in some way?

1k Kurzick Faction = 1 Amber
1k Luxon Faction = 1 Jadeite

If you want 15k Canthan, farming Faction doesn't help you.

Basicaly the 15k kurzick and luxon armours(1.5k as well)need amber and jadeite. To get them you can either buy them from people for or you can exchange 1000 faction to get 1 piece of either one depending on which alliance the faction is with

Its cheaper to farm faction to get 1 piece of amber/jadeite than it is to farm gold to buy it.

Yep I know it gets confusing...but faction only seems to benefit a few things
1) Getting Luxon or Kurzik based armor where it requires amber or jadite
2) Helping your alliance to take over a town (which in turn moves boundry lines)
3) The first 10k faction gets u past a primary quest so you can then do the mission

I am thinking about getting 15k Kurzik armor which equals a need for 80 amber i think...that is a looooooooot of faction earning which btw cash it in if you are about to collect any amount over 10k faction cuz it will not go higher than that number - therefore getting a faction reward will be void

A complete set of 15k armor will cost 80 jadite/amber.*

* That's with only one headpiece.

I find that farming faction for Jade and selling those Jadeite Shards for 2k each helps quite a bit... Farming faction, I can make 15k - 20k an hour, if I convert to shards and sell it instead of giving to the cause.

I still prefer FoW solo.

ele 15k lux/kurz/canthan doesnt have a headpiece. :P

It is the same price/materials as the 1.5k factions one.
