Why???? Why would they make a copy of Sympathetic Visage? I think it's an incredible waste of a skill to make a copy of SV. There's no point to using them together, unlike skills such as Arcane Thievery and Arcane Larceny. I really fail to see the point here. I've never even used SV and neither have I seen anyone else use it.

they made copis of skills probrally to mak up for skill recharges (and i've seen SV used quite often in PvP). Also i believe that arcane larceny and arcane theivery steal different skills (unlike echo'd archane theivery), so that disables 2 enemy skills isntead of just 1

no, arcane larency will have the same chance of stealing the same skills as arcane thievery, so it IS like echoing thievery,.

Well if you want SV up constantly then it's now possible, since even with a 20% enchant mod & 16 illusion, SV goes down for 5 seconds. It does seem a rather pointless waste to use two skilll slots though.

BTW, SV is useful in itself - part of the core UW 55hp mes build, useful for tanking. Sometimes used in PvP for warrior mes-hate too.

I think the only reason is to give players who only bought Factions some of the more vital skills from Prophecies.

Me neither, i can't see why some skills are considered "Core" (thus existing on both campaigns) and others as "campaign specific" but cloned !!!
There must be a subtlety hidden in...
